
UIN Siber Cirebon – UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon has begun finalizing preparations to host the 25th Annual International Conference on Islamic Studies (AICIS) in 2026—the most prestigious international Islamic scholarly forum organized annually by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
Following the decision by the Director General of Islamic Education designating UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon as the host for the 25th AICIS, university leadership held an initial coordination meeting for the event on Thursday (July 16, 2026) in the Senate Meeting Room, located on the second floor of the Rectorate Building.
The meeting was chaired by the Rector of UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, Prof. Dr. H. Aan Jaelani, M.Ag., and facilitated by the Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Hajam, M.Ag. Attendees included vice rectors, deans, bureau heads, directors, heads of institutions, unit heads, and committee members who will play a role in ensuring the success of the 25th AICIS.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. H. Aan Jaelani, M.Ag., emphasized that the trust placed in UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon by the Ministry of Religious Affairs represents both an honor and a significant responsibility that requires thorough and optimal preparation.
